I love how one can just look at their stash and just create a thing of beauty from it all. I love what you have done to the matchbox. It's so delicate and charming. I have been trying to find my way back to crafting after a rough year last year and OWOA has been so inspiring to me, and it's only just begun. So excited to meet more crafty people like you Frannie. I was looking at the rest of your blog and was so amazed at what you did to the paintbrushes. I never would have thought to use a paintbrush as art. Very creative idea. You have made me seen I need to look at things more carefully and see what else they can be used for rather than their intended purposes.

Hello Frannie! I'm Michaele, and I live in Kansas. Your lovely lilac matchbox is going to make someone very happy! I've often wondered what it would be like to decorate matchboxes: though I'm comfortable layering paper and cardstock together for crafts, adding additional textiles in an appropriate scale is something I still have to work on.
